Position Title: QA Analyst II
Department: Research & Development
Reports to: Manager of QA

Primary Objective of Postition
|
Develops, publishes, and implements test plans. Writes and maintains test automation.
Develops quality assurance standards. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics
such as defect densities and open defect counts. Must have a working knowledge of
quality assurance methodologies. Familiar with Windows environments. Relies on experience
and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under
general supervision; typically reports to a manager. A certain degree of creativity
and latitude is required.

Knowledge and Skill Required
|
- Organized/comprehensive approach to work
- Efficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Functional knowledge of Automated testing tools
- Functional knowledge of ASP, HTML, Java Script, XML,
Microsoft Team Foundation Server, SQL Server 2005/2008, IIS, NT, Windows Server
2003/2008, Win XP/Win VISTA/Win 7 environments desirable
- Skilled knowledge in testing concepts, tools and methodologies

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
|
- Validate that software performs to established guidelines
- Evaluate and test software programs to verify programs
function according to user requirements
- Write, review, revise and verify quality standards
and test procedures for program design and product evaluation
- Participate in review of standards, procedures, tools,
and processes
- Monitor and communicate with developers on defects
- Prepare and develop test strategies and test plans
- Assist in disaster recovery testing
- Analysis of test data
- Work collectively to solve defects
- Other functions as assigned

Requirements
|
- 2-4 years software testing experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Industry certifications desirable
|
