Analysis Tab: Dashboards & Analyzers

The Analysis tab, at the top of your SalesOptimizer console, is packed with info for both sales reps and managers, providing key insights at a high level with a minimal number of clicks.

Dashboards
This primary view for sales reps contains many pre-fab reports that can give tremendous visibility into sales history and year over year trending. Once inside this view, a number of reports are available down the left-hand side of the screen.

With 'Orders by Date' and 'Ships by Date', reps have a calendar-like view into performance to better plan future success. Additionally, the variety of Best Sellers reports can provide a path to increase sales, letting the user know what's hot and what's not at a mere glance.

New Dashboard features are being incorporated all the time to increase the breadth of information a user can see at a glance. Read on to learn about the newest additions.

What's New?

Some new features have been added to SalesOptimizer. Here's a quick recap...
  • Two new dashboard fields on your Analysis tab for Orders/ Ships by Date.
    - Now compare what was ordered and shipped by date this year vs.
      last.
  • Retailer fax number has been added to the account summary report on the Reports tab
    - The fax is now under the phone number for each account on all
      'Acct Sum'ry' reports.

Pull Alerts

What fast, reliable ways does a rep have to assess which accounts are slowing down on activity from this year over last? Or which new accounts are yet to place an order? In the past, this may have required pulling several reports for several different accounts individually, and then prioritizing visits based on hours of tedious discovery.

Now, a rep can take advantage of Pull Alerts, accessible from the My Accounts tab on the SalesOptimizer console to strategize upcoming customer visits. These alerts can be run at any time to uncover key insights into existing accounts.

Examples of existing Alerts include:
  • Accounts that have ordered > $300 over the last 365 days but $0 in the last 90 days.
  • New accounts opened in the last 365 days but have not yet ordered.
  • Accounts with shipments in the last 30 days.
  • Accounts that have ordered more than $300 in Direct orders in the last 90 days.
There are many standard Alerts to pull currently, with more being added all the time. To run an alert, simply "tag" it by clicking the check box toward the left of the liseted alert and then clicking on the "Run Tagged Items" button at the top of the screen. You can even run multiple alerts by checking multiple boxes or choosing the "Tag All & Run" button.

Push Alerts

Sales managers have a similar brand of Alerts that allows for more proactive distribution of timely reports to the field. Many of these reports mimic the Pull Alerts highlighted above, but can be 'pushed' out to everyone in the sales channel.

For example, sales management could run a Push Alert showing all accounts with orders on hold and push an individualized version, via email, to all reps with those clients in their territories.

Another example would be an alert to reps letting them know which orders have an upcoming cancel date.

By communicating these key insights on demand to a sales force, reps can immediately take advantage of opportunities that may have gone unnoticed, thanks to thier sales managers.

Many different Push Alerts currently exist that are being sent to reps. SalesOptimizer administrators can contact Brandwise to have additional Alerts added to thier systems.
