New! User's
Manuals now online
In an effort to make it as
quick and easy as possible to get you the help you need, exactly when you need
it, the SalesOptimizer user manual is now available online and accessible from
the Home pull-down menu after you have logged in.
Just click the Home link in the upper left of your screen and you'll notice a
link to either Sales Rep Manual or Admin Manual, based on your user status. The
Admin Manual is specific to those with Admin login rights to cover additional
funtions available at that level.
Clicking the menu listing will open up a PDF version of the manual if you have
Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. If you do not have this application installed,
you will be prompted to visit where you can obtain a free copy. |
New User Interface: Revisited
The new SalesOptimizer user
interface has been "live" for a couple of weeks now, saving everyone on-screen
real estate and mouse clicks all around. There are some additional features that
you may have noticed which also were released with the new interface.
New Login Screen
The login screen is now source for updates from Brandwise. Currently this
highlights the redesigned interface as well as our new compatibility with Safari
for Mac users.
Additionally, you'll notice three new links in the upper right hand corner of
your SalesOptimizer screen which provides easy access to some standard features.
Passport Profile
Replaces the User Info page - this is where you can edit your personal details
and password. See the below article "How and when to edit your user info" for
more information
Customer Service
You may be sad to see the smiling face from our customer service icon gone, but
never fear, clicking this link will enable our LiveChat! feature which lets you
ask our customer service team for assistance.
Sign Out
This is your new link to loug out of SalesOptimizer. We recommend all users sign
out when not at their computers, but especially anyone who uses a public
terminal or shares access to their internet browser with other colleagues
whenever the system is not in use.

How and when to edit your user info
Keeping your SalesOptimizer
User Info up to date is crucial to making sure you get all the latest
information from a number of sources. These updates can include new account
alerts from manufacturers as well as vital system notifications from Brandwise.
To edit your info, just click the Passport Profile link in the upper right of
your screen when logged into SalesOptimizer. A pop-up window will appear with
your current user info. To the left of this info is an "Edit" button which, when
clicked, allows you to modify any of your personal detailes like First and Last
name, email address, street address, and phone number. To confirm any changes
you make, just click "Update".
Below your personal info, you'll also notice a place to change your
SalesOptimizer login password. To do so, enter your current password, and then
the one you would like to begin using. The new password will need to be entered
a second time as a confirmation of the change. To finalize, click "Change
Password" and your password will be updated.
It is recommended to check your Passport Profile every 6 months to make sure
your email and other details are up to date.

"Export to Excel": Revisited
Last month, we reviewed the "Export to Excel" option available on
many SalesOptimizer pages. By right clicking on a page, the "Export to Excel"
option will load that application and dump your data for further anlysis,
chart-making, etc... One question was posed by our readers that we felt we
should address this month. Many users wanted to know where the rest of their
data was.
As you export a page to Microsoft Excel, your data is split onto 3 pages. These
different pages are accessible by clicking the Page Tabs at the lower left of
your Microsoft Excel worksheet. If you don't see the info you need on the page
that loads by default, try clicking on the other pages to see where your data
went.

these to make sure your future SalesOptimizer use is as efficient and bug-free
as possible. |
Brandwise 360°: Final Touches
Brandwise is currently putting the final touches on our revamped
customer mapping utility, and is excited to release this to everyone, even at
the rep level, in the coming weeks. Once Brandwise 360° goes live, you'll be
able to plot out existing customers on a brand new map engine, search for new
ones for instant prospecting, and efficiently plan your sales day using live
traffic and weather overlays. You will even be able to access nearly all
customer-related data just by hovering over a customer's plot on the map.
We're extremely excited to show you this new feature and will soon begin beta
testing. Once testing is complete, we will begin a phased rollout to existing
SalesOptimizer clients and thier user lists. Expect more details including a
launch date soon! |
